Van Garren has never met a stranger. He can talk to anyone and everyone, which is an attribute his clients greatly appreciate about him. Van joined Garren Realty in 2019 and quickly became an incredibly valuable member of the team. His friendly, outgoing personality makes his clients feel comfortable whether they are first-time buyers or seasoned sellers. Van is dedicated to his clients’ success and has the strong work ethic needed to persevere in real estate. He learned the value of hard work from his father who owned a heavy equipment construction company in Polk County where he grew up.

Joining the real estate industry was a natural transition for Van because of his interest in construction and architecture. In addition to growing up with a father in the construction industry, Van studied both mechanical and architectural drafting in school.

Van moved to Knoxville to be with his wife, Michele. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, and you can often find him attending Powell High School football games or enjoying a relaxing day of fishing or hiking.
