Michele Garren is known for her ability to see a home not only for what it is but also for what it can be with a little love and elbow grease. She began her real estate career in 2001 as an office manager for a real estate company. She helped property management clients and HOA clients with leasing, billing, marketing and maintenance services. Over time, Michele gained an outstanding reputation for her capabilities in the property management industry and quickly grew her management portfolio to include properties from all over the United States consisting of condominiums, houses, commercial and rental units and apartment complexes. In 2007, Michele expanded her real estate services by becoming a licensed Realtor®, and she has since become one of Knoxville’s most trusted agents in the property development niche.

Michele obtained her affiliate broker license in 2011 and led a property management team of leasing agents, maintenance technicians, groundskeepers and management staff. In 2020, Michele decided it was time to start her own company. She began Garren Realty as a way to serve more buyers, sellers and property investors and continue growing in the industry. Although Michele’s primary market is the Downtown Knoxville/Fort Sanders community where she manages student housing for many clients, she and her team serve clients all across the country.

Michele has a high client retention rate because she develops strong, trusting business partnerships. She goes above and beyond to make sure her services are tailored to the needs of each and every client, and she customizes her services to ensure their expectations are not only met but exceeded. Outside of the office, Michele enjoys spending time with her children and her husband Van. She and Van actively volunteer their time assisting with the local Powell High School football team by hauling equipment to away games, recording games for review and donating to the school’s athletic programs.
